# About Swipr

## Who makes Swipr

Swipr is made by Alexander Pritsert, an independent developer.

## What Swipr is

Swipr is a photo clean-up app for iPhone and iPad. Swipe right to keep a photo, left to move it to Trash. Smart Clean Up shows the photos you're likely to delete first and says why. On-device AI finds photos by what they show, the text in them, where and when they were taken, or what looks similar, groups duplicates and suggests albums and trips. Nothing is deleted until you empty Trash, and your photos never leave your device.

## Your photos stay on your device

When Swipr looks at your photos, everything happens on the device, and nothing is uploaded.

- Sorting, Smart Clean Up, AI search, text recognition, voice search, place search, understanding longer searches and duplicate detection all run on your iPhone or iPad.
- Swipr has no account and no server that stores photos. The only download is the optional AI search model, and that request contains no photos or personal data.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which follow your choices in Google's consent form and Apple's tracking prompt. Your photos are never shared with Google or any advertiser.
